Nella is an approximately 3 month old mixed breed puppy who came to us on 10/6/2024 with two littermates. They were all found together as strays and never claimed. We heard through the grapevine that they're a mix of German shorthaired pointer, catahoula, and Cane Corso. We do believe she'll be a somewhat large dog at maturity. Her adoption fee of $150 will cover her basic vet work - distemper/parvo combo vaccinations (2), rabies vaccination, microchip, and spay surgery (when age appropriate).

As a puppy, Nella will require a lot of basic training in all areas. She's at a great age to begin this. She's playful, happy, and affectionate. She's looking for a committed home in which she won't be left alone for long hours. She should do well with other animals and kids.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
