Georgie was rescued after she was seen being tossed in a carrier from a moving car.  The carrier broke open on impact and the person behind stopped and picked up Georgie from the busy road so that she would not be killed by a passing car.  Georgie is a bit of a nervous kitten at first in new situations, but after a couple of weeks here at MCHS, she calmed down and acted like a normal girl. Georgie is also has extra toes on her front feet!  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is now spayed and is current on her shots.  Her adoption fee is $80.  We are looking for a loving, patient, indoor home for this girl.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Georgie or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.
