Pascal was originally adopted from us back in 2019 when he was 1-2 years old. He loved life in his home and was very loved. Unfortunately he tends to have a bit of separation anxiety that didn't mesh well with his family's busy schedule. They made the difficult decision to return him to us in March 2025. Pascal is now around 7 years old and is, of course, pretty bummed about this recent development. He is fully vetted and his fee is $125.

Pascal is a large guy and his breed mix is anyone's guess, but we're thinking greyhound and Plott hound, just to name a couple possible options. He's a handsome dude who has done well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He's looking for a nice place to land with someone who is home most of the time. He does require regular exercise as he does need to lose a little weight. He is a very sensitive soul, too, who bonds very closely to his people. Seriously, the sweetest boy ever!

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
