Speedy is an approximately 9 year old female chihuahua mix who came to MCHS on 3/28/2025 with her son, Mr. Ed. She's a sweet little cuddler who is well mannered and doesn't demand a whole lot. She has been completely vet checked and updated on vaccinations. Her fee is $150 but will be reduced to $125 is she's adopted with Mr. Ed.

We're not requiring that Speedy be adopted with Mr. Ed, but of course it would be lovely. The two dogs are pretty attached to each other, coming from the same home as owner surrenders. Speedy is content to just hang out with someone and doesn't mind a short walk. She's pretty low maintenance.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
